During the Literacy Week (7-11 September), Library Waterland and Fiolet Taaltrainingen work together. Every afternoon, a group of students get an integration lesson in the Purmerend library. During one of these lessons alderman Edwin Voorbij (D66) will visit a group. The alderman want to meet new residents and want to be informed about the methods of learning Dutch.

Because of the high temperatures in the classrooms our students went outside to undertake a ‘treasure hunt’, organized by Fleur. The students got simple and more difficult tasks and learned this way about their new residence Purmerend. Some students lost their way … but luckily they found their way back to fiolet.
